Hello all,
For those who are in our Free Company we will start doing endgame static events that will most likely be held on Friday and/or Saturday once the majority of us are up and running after completing the main storyline. Currently, setting up end-game events is not going well as they are posted on the schedule and people do not sign up. We inted to focus on recruiting members who are ready for endgame content so that we can get events going and will still take those who are not. We may have to make more than one static as we might have quite a few members wanting to do the events, so knowing the schedule of the current members will be helpful when we get to that point as will knowing who is at what stage of ARR. This will be for those committed to attending scheduled events weekly and coming prepared with the proper gear for the event we are doing and knowledge of strategies (yes we will help members understand strats and hope to have them on the site). This is not the attitude of an elitist, yet one of expectations for members to try their best and put in the work required for SGT to progress through ARR. Due to the fact that Xenus, Katra, Maxi and I don't play a lot at night during the week days, Wootzie Taru is now a leader for our FC as he is on a great deal more than us, as well as being able to help those in the FC and lead events when we cannot. In SGT real life comes first and it is ok if you have not had time to go through all of the storyline as you are not the only one. For those of you who have completed it already congratulations and you can always join a static that is at the stage you are currently at. Those who need help completing the main storyline, Katra is posting events to help get you through, although one night it was just Katra, Maxi, Xenus and I.

All SGT members are encouraged to create and sign up for events that they need done. The Leadership of SGT feels that our members know what they need done and allow for them to create events that best fit their schedule. Again, if you expect everyone to drop what they are doing for you on the spot in the game, then you probably will not get a lot of help as members might be in the middle of something or just are not at that spot in the game. Currently, there are many of us who cannot do some of the content and will gladly help you once we are at that point. If you need help, please schedule an event at least 3 days ahead of time so we allow enough time for members to log in and sign up as many do not log in every day and more along the lines of once a week. Free Company members remember if it is something that is for the progression of the FC, then make sure to use the correct importance to ensure all SGT members are aware of what audience the events are intended for. Thanks to Maxi, the importance color code can now be found on the schedule widget one the home page and they are in tooltip form so you will need to put your mouse over the color to get the importance. Remember, when signing up for an event you may be asked to play a job that is not your main as that is the needed job. Yes, some members that had all 50's in 1.0 might not have the quests done for those, but most jobs should still be good to go. For those of you who have only one job that you can play, you might need to rotate out so other players get a chance as well.
