Hello Everybody,

I finally got around to buying a new set up. I got myself a desktop. I had them build it for me. It took a lot of negotiating and language difficulties. Its very hard to translate computer parts from English to Chinese. Here is what i got.

I54570
8gb DDR3
windows 7
128 ssd
500gig 7200rpm HD
AMD Radeon 7800
Huge fan for the I5
Good case
23 inch Samsumg led screen S23C570

All this for 1000. I think I did good. Not sure. I wanted a different video card but they suggested i get this one. Its a huge video card. now my question is, Should I play the game on 1080 or 720? How do you guys play it if your computer can handle 1080?
Here is my benchmark. Any suggestions on what i should turn on or off would be welcomed. Last thing, Should i install the game on the SSD?

While we're still running old systems we got new memory cards a few weeks ago which bumped our performance from low settings ~2k to max settings high 7k. I run with just about everything on and the only places I have problems sometimes are Mor Dhona and the Behe/Odin FATEs…but it sounds like people with little gods of computers have problems with Behe and Odin anyway. Nice system! It looks good.

If you ran the benchmark at 1080p and received a sufficient score, then there's no real reason not to run the game at 1080p. You should definitely install it to the SSD as it will increase load times significantly.

As for changes I would make:

Screen Size: 1920x1080
Screen Mode: Borderless Windowed or Fullscreen
Graphics Presets: Maximum
General
-Enable HDR rendering and improve overall graphic quality. : Enabled
-Disable rendering of objects when not visible. (Occlusion Culling) : Enabled
-Use low-detail models on distant objects. (LOD) : Enabled
-Cache LOD data only when necessary. (LOD Streaming) : Enabled
-Real-time Reflections : High
-Edge Smoothing (Anti-aliasing) : FXAA
-Transparent Lighting Quality : High
-Grass Quality : High
Shadows
-Self : Display
-Other NPCs : Display
Shadow Quality
-Use low-detail models on shadows. (LOD) : Enabled
-Shadow Resolution : High - 2048p
-Shadow Cascading : Best
-Shadow Softening : Strong
Texture Detail
-Texture Filtering : Anisotropic
-Anisotropic Filtering : x16
Movement Physics
-Self : Full
-Other NPCs : Full
Effects
-Naturally darken the edges of the screen. (Limb Darkening) : Enabled
-Blur the graphics around an object in motion. (Radial Blur) : Enabled
-Screen Space Ambient Occlusion : Strong
-Glare : Normal
Cinematic Cutscenes
-Enable depth of field. : EnabledJSchubis

I hope that helps.
