Again I am not saying these are 100% correct and ask Xenus about them. The link(s) are here to help players get familiar with the fight. This website does it a little differently before the second wave than I have done, but I have heard of this being done. http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Good_King_Moggle_Mog_XII_(Boss)

For a video reference of how the fight will likely play out (it was taken during patch 1.20 so some things may have changed), I have posted a YouTube link below.
The video will run just over 21 minutes. If nothing else, the battlefield music is really well done and may be worth viewing the video if for no other reason.

Hiya LS, The way that we have been doing Moogle has made our runs successful. For those of you who have not done it with us, here is a rundown. ^^ This is rather easy as long as the party works as a team and pays attention to buff timers and mp so you know where to be and what to do. This is the basics and some things may change from party to party. ^^
Please note when a specific time is given for White Mages and Bards to buff, it should be understood that at that time the whole party is in the middle and all moogles are dead. Buffing should be started and in the process at the time stated to ensure that the buffs go off.
Before entering: Preferred Jobs (some parties will have to be adapted as people do not always have the specific jobs that are preferred, however you need to understand that it can greatly reduce the DPS, causing the kills to take longer). Skip the cut scene so as to not waste time or we might not make the time limit for first phase.
1 Tank - War tends to be the better choice due to AoE and being able to take hits better, however a Paladin that uses their skills properly can pull it off but they need to help heal themselves and bard needs to make sure to give Ballad to them.
2 White Mages - one White Mage MUST have Esuna or the tank will not be able to keep hate as petrified is spammed by the Moogle King. One will target the party and the other will focus on the tank. The party should not need as much healing as the tank, so the mage assigned to the party needs to help cure the tank when they can. Party white mage needs to watch the tank's white mages mp and switch out when needed for a short time until mp is back up. Pukna Pako the Tailturner (thf) and Moogle King have a move that drains MP and the blm Pukla Puki the Pomburner does AoE damage. Once it is a full attack on the King BOTH white mages need heal tank. If you are new to White Mage in endgame here is a great guide to help you out.
1 Bard needs to have raise set as backup and have Ballad of Magi. As the bard can move quicker than caster stuck in animation at times, making it easier to escape attacks at time. Therefore, the bards are needed to raise the white mage should one die as to keep the other whm free for healing. If the party is having trouble with the white mages staying alive a second bard might be added. Bards are expected to DD & keep all mages buffed with Ballad of Magi for our mp.
Rest PT Black mage - We need the added damage here, hence why Bard needs to have raise. One Black Mage and only one blm that is named prior needs to use Flare at two different times. Other than that there is to be NO AoE. Black mage will use the thunder combo along with the non-AoE black mage nukes. Please keep from using BLM nukes during first wave as it takes too long to cast. Please inform the white mages that you are about to convert, so they do not cure you early.
DO NOT ATTACK MOOGLES WHEN THEY ARE FAT! Moogle King resets hate after each ws.
First Wave:
1. IF there is a war as tank, the war attacks the first moogle ASAP and the assigned blm flares and the war collisions the blm gaining hate. If not then whole party goes full attack on the first moogle. Even white mages nuke and buff and heal in between when needed.
2. You have one minute from when your character loads till the next moogle pops. It is important that the party has the first moogle down before this happens. When the party has to focus on more than one moogle the kills become longer and slower. Given that you have killed the first moogle within the time frame, the second one pops and you must kill that one off within a minute. The cycle continues until you have killed all 6 moogles or you have gone 6 minutes into the fight.
3. When the timer hits 25 minutes the white mages need to cast protect on their assigned targets and make sure health is at full. Pt needs to watch health as well and make sure that they are not making the white mages scramble to try to get it all done.
4. As soon as the 6th moogle is dead or the timer hits 24 minutes the whole party needs to gather in the center for buffs.
5. Once the fight timer hits 24 minutes the Moogle King will come and raise the 6 moogles (it will state in log) you just killed. At this point both white mages use sacred prism and one whm casts stoneskin while the other regen. Any jobs able to use sentinel, rampart or sanguine rite do so now. As you are doing this the 7 moogles are being raised you will be fine, but you need to have it up before they are all up. Also, one Bard should use Battle Voice then back up with Ballad of Magi, as BV (Battle voice) enhances songs while active.
Second Wave
1. When the chorus starts singing, the king's summoning ritual will have ended and all the moogles will be revived with full life at this time the King will cast Memento Moogle immediately after appearing. Memento Moogle damage varies depending on how many moogles have been killed during the first phase. Thus, a Memento Moogle IV meaining no moogles killed it should deal 9,999 damage to everyone and ends the battle. If all moogles were defeated, the spell will deal very low damage. If the tank is war, the blm assigned will flare as soon as the moogles are up and war collision the blm. If the tank is pld I would think cover on the blm would work, but have not seen it. Ask Xenus lol ^^
2. Both white mages should be casting Curaga when Memento Moogle is cast.
3. The fight will play out much like the War AF body fight. Where the tank kites with one whm healing and the party takes mobs off the tank in kill order while another whm heals the party. NO AoE. Give the tank time to get hate on the mobs before going nuke crazy and the tank needs to stop and use actions that create enmity as much as possible. Having said that, please understand I am expecting you to know what to do and what not to do when kiting mobs. ^^
4. KILL ORDER: Pukla Puki the Pomburner (BLM) >> Whiskerwall Kupdi Koop (GLD) >> Puksi Piko the Shaggysong (BRD) >> Pukna Pako the Tailturner (THF) >> Woolywart Kupqu Kogi (ARC) >> Furryfoot Kupli Kipp (WHM)>>Ruffletuft Kupta Kapa (WAR) >> Full Attack on Moogle King
If you get hate you need to run the oppostie direction of the tank, so that the tank can pick it off of you easier.
5. If the King is in the middle you are not! Stay away from the thf and King as much as possible as you will not have mp left after they steal it. Do not attack moogles when fat.
6. Full attack on the Moogle King - The tank needs to pull the Moogle King to a side farthest from the middle while ranged stays in the middle.
7.BOTH white mages need to heal the tank. The Moogle King resets hate after each ws so watch you hate. If the tank looses hate stop fighting and let the tank get hate back.
That might not be everything and I know it does not cover all jobs. This is just the strat that seems to be the main one used and it works. The main thing is you need to work as a team and if you do not you will wipe. Hope this helps those who are new to the fight or those who do not understand the fight. The link I gave for the strat is not like what we do plus the time of summoning of the King were wrong and I could not find ones I liked. The link that I had given a while ago does tell the specific ws of each moogle. If you have any further tips or edits please feel free to share. Xenus just go in and make corrections. ^^

Thanks Maxi, Xenus helped me with the strategy and Wind added Bard information as well as edited and bolded things. ^^ This way members know the LS strategy that we tend to run with as it works rather well. Even with mistakes you can recover if you know what the rest of the party is doing and how the party is to work as a team.
