Hello SGT members both old and new. Our shell is looking for a motto to use that best encompasses the nature of the shell. Whether it is for the social aspects of just having a place to hang out and have fun in a drama free as possible environment, or striving towards end game goals as a group once we have our free company established. Essentially, an encouraging call to arms as a group.

What we are asking for from our shell is a selection of quotes, motos, creeds, etc., that may best describe our views. Somethings to consider:

• First, no pressure. Don't feel obligated to post anything you don't want to, but don't be afraid to post something as long as it fits in our forum's guidelines.
• Feel free to use anything that would seem to fit, whether from somewhere in ancient history, television/movies, or something that you create yourself. Try to cite your source if possible, such as William Shakespeare, Homer Simpson of The Simpsons, although something general would be fine as well if it is all you have, such as a French proverb. You can still post though if you have no source, but it sounds like it will fit.
• Something short is preferred.
• Any post is subject to the linkshell's rules of conduct. The linkshell leadership holds the right to remove anything that it views as breaking the rules posted here, http://socialgettogether.guildwork.com/forum/threads/51d35cf1ab0eed644663e16c-general-discussion-rules.
• Even following the guidelines, not everything may be usable. We are looking for as much participation as possible, but not all submissions may make it to the voting stage. For example, a Japanese proverb is "He who buys what he needs not, sells what he needs" may be solid advice for the DoHs, and is sound advice when buying gear and meds for other classes, but it doesn't fit what we are looking for.
• In case of ties, we will use a tiebreaker already in place to judge the winner.

Please try to submit mottos and such within the next week; the deadline is Monday, July 15th. Shortly after, we will place the quotes chosen to advance to the next round in a poll on this thread. Once it is available, we will like to keep voting open until July 22nd. The winning entry may be used in various spots on the site, and will be used in at least a couple of future videos.
